Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bizengi.com (the "Service"), operated by Bizengi K.K., a company registered in Japan ("Bizengi", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by higher-education institutions, faculty, researchers, postdoctoral scholars and academic professionals. By submitting a job advertisement you confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of the hiring institution.

2. Job listings

All job advertisements are reviewed by a human moderator. We reserve the right to reject, edit or remove any listing that does not match our editorial focus on academic positions in Business and Engineering schools, or that we deem inappropriate or non-compliant with applicable law.

3. Fees and payment

Fees are payable in advance via the multi-currency Stripe Checkout link we provide. Fees are inclusive of credit-card processing but exclusive of taxes. Japanese Consumption Tax (10%) is added for Japan-domiciled customers; cross-border B2B sales are reverse-charged or zero-rated where applicable.

4. Refunds

Listings are non-refundable once published. If a listing has not yet been published we will refund the amount paid less any payment processing fees, on written request to [email protected].

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the job description text and any logos you upload. You grant Bizengi a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, format and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Service and our newsletters.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bizengi's aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant listing in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to active customers at least 14 days in advance.
