Tenured Associate Professor in Statistics or Econometrics
The Faculty of Economics and Management of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano is seeking candidates for a tenured Associate Professor (Professore Associato) position in: - Statistics (STAT-01/A) or - Econometrics (ECON-05/A)
Join the "Data Science and Mathematical Methods" research cluster. Duties include ≥120 hours of annual teaching at UG, master, or doctoral levels and student supervision. Expected appointment: January 2027.
Profile: PhD in Statistics, Econometrics, or a closely related discipline. Strong mathematical/computational background. Outstanding publications in high-impact journals; teaching record at BSc/MSc/PhD levels. Teaching duties require proficiency in at least two of German, Italian, or English (C1+ in English and one of DE/IT).
Per Italian "direct call from abroad" regulations, applicants must already hold an equivalent Associate Professor position at a non-Italian university.
